Abstract

Introduzione

L’analisi transazionale è un modello di psicoterapia innovativo che ha avuto una notevole diffusione, suddivisa al suo interno in numerosi orientamenti. L’assenza di un modello concettuale unificato empiricamente supportato e di ricerche sull’efficacia, ha portato negli ultimi venti anni l’analisi transazionale a essere considerata dall’ambito scientifico internazionale un modello di terapia in declino, stimolando per reazione diversi progetti di ricerca.

Metodo

Breve presentazione delle linee guida della ricerca internazionale in psicoterapia e confronto con i progetti di ricerca sviluppati in analisi transazionale.

Risultati

I ricercatori in analisi transazione hanno implementato le linee guida della ricerca in psicoterapia e hanno definito in modo sistematico il proprio modello concettuale, gli strumenti di valutazione, i principi per la manualizzazione, definendo l’identità dell’analisi transazionale nel panorama delle psicoterapie. Inoltre, hanno condotto revisioni sistematiche della letteratura e meta-analisi delle ricerche sistematiche sull’efficacia pubblicate fino ad ora secondo le linee guida della ricerca sull’efficacia delle psicoterapie.

Conclusioni

La ricerca in analisi transazionale si sta sviluppando in modo coerente con le linee guida della ricerca internazionale in psicoterapia e ha dimostrato l’efficacia del proprio modello concettuale, sia comparata ad altri modelli, sia in studi osservazionali. Sono delineate, infine, le future linee di sviluppo della ricerca europea in analisi transazionale.
