Il dialogo morale in Psicoterapia

Il senso della cura e della responsabilità in psicoterapia comprende una ri-considerazione della dimensione morale nel rapporto paziente-psicoterapeuta. Viene proposto un approccio che vuole arricchire la relazione terapeutica con un dialogo teso a sostenere lo sviluppo del senso morale nelle persone. La moralità, vista come dimensione legata all’iter evolutivo e alle esperienze affettive delle persone, in studi e ricerche recenti è considerata parte essenziale dell’identità personale. La cornice teorica dell’analisi transazionale socio-cognitiva permette di considerare lo sviluppo del senso morale come aspetto che si fonda su esperienze, sentimenti, pensieri e valutazioni che riguardano, in modo diverso, Bambino, Adulto e Genitore. In tal modo, l’ATSC suggerisce spunti interessanti agli psicoterapeuti che vogliano coinvolgersi con rispetto, curiosità e delicatezza in un dialogo che promuova la crescita morale dei propri pazienti.
